Onboarding Guide

Welcome to MicroSend! We're delighted to have you onboard 🤝

This Manual contains all the steps you need to get your MicroSend platform ready for launch!
Please work through each step in the order outlined, to ensure a smooth installation and onboarding process.

Section One: Technical Installation

⚙️ It is crucial to complete all steps of the technical installation before starting to configure your platform. This section will require technical knowledge, or the assistance of a Developer

Step One

Login to your account and invite your Dev team to your GoSquared project:

Head to Settings > Current Project > Your Team

You can then enter your Developer's email address to send them a welcome invitation to join your project.

NB. This will note add the user to all projects in your account, only the project selected.

Step Two

Send Instruction Manual to your Developer

You can use our handy email template below. This includes all the information your Dev team will need to install your Microsend site.

For the custom event section, we recommend you add a list of a minimum of three custom events. These are typically key activation metrics or custom user-characteristics you would like to track in MicroSend.

Examples of key custom events our clients install:

- Whitepaper downloaded

- Profile activated

- Webinar attended

- Subscription Start Date

- Subscription Renewal Date

Hi!

We are integrating a new platform called 'MicroSend' by GoSquared into our website.

I have invited you to join our account via email. Once you have logged in, please could you assist with the following:

1) Install the Analytics snippet into our website

Click the link here to access our project's snippet.You can also find a video tutorial for installing the snippet here.

2) Install the Identify snippet into our website

Installing this snippet requires accessing our website's underlying source-code. You can access an instruction manual for this installation here, or access GoSquared's technical documentation here.

3) Install our first custom events

We would like to begin tracking additional custom events for our users. Using the instruction manual here, and technical documentation here, please assist us in installing the following custom events:

Section Two: Pre-launch Configuration

Once you have completed your Technical installation, you can get started configuring your MicroSend platform 🎉
